Anyone can recomend me one?
I want alot of web space, and at a low cost. (Free?)

Can it be done at all or am I dreaming? :)

it all depends on wot you want:
- windows or linux hosting (ASP <-> PHP)
- mysql support
- webspace
- traffic
- ...

i pay like $150 a year for (just upgraded) 1Gb space - 50Gb traffic / month

and i would strongly advice to take a look at the webhosters in your country... if you live in europe you don't want a webhoster in the USA - too much trouble (ping, payment, support hours, etc.)

so hard to tell you who is the best - the best ISP for a german customer doesn't have to be the best for an american...

A very cheap host located in Denmark. I have my domain there and am very satisfied.

It supports ASP, PHP, CGI, Frontpage extensions, offers unlimited e-mail adressesand 100MB, 200MB or 300MB storeage capacity.

The prices are in Norwegian kroner (which I know is most actual for you) 10NOK for 100MB, 20NOK for 200MB and 40NOK for 300MB per month.

It is hosted on a 1Gbit/s line, so linespeed is no problem.

i had 350Mb and 25Gb transfer package - its a US host tho and im belgian but its pretty fast and support is ace

during the giga sale you could upgrade your package to 1Gb/50Gb transfer for a 1 time payment of $30 - so i would be stupid if i didnt do it

i still pay the same now as for their cheapest package

there are off course cheaper ones, but i really like this one

I want me to put up a lil webbie with pics / sigges / vids / maybe files like sfw and maybe some school stuff for me and friends
Need :
300 - 500 mb space, and up to 1GB if its cheap
A gig or two traffic per month maybe, if more needed I will just upgrade

I and the company I work for use www.hostforweb.com. They're a US host.

They have some pretty kickass packages and a nifty referral program (if you sign up, make sure you put in "experim" as your referrer! ;) ) Their admin panel rocks as well. They even have phpbb setup and ready to install at the click of a button, if you want forums. All around good experience with them.

i get hosted at www.hostrocket.com - also a very good host with ace support and nice quality stuff. wait till there is a sale like last week

there was a giga sale in which u get 1Gb/50Gb traffic for the price of the economy plan

I myself have goatie.org hosted by Orion-hosting.co.uk a business owned by Ph8 and family.

I have found them to be great vaule for money and have excellent service, not once have I had any trouble with them at all.

The servers are based in UK, a couple hops from LINX so they are really fast and reliable. The package I bought, has since been upgraded in an attempt for Orion Hosting to become more competative and I believe them now to be amongst the best value-for-money hosting companies around.

I was hosted on LINX before and the connection sux towards Belgium. My dad is still hosted on a webhosting company connected to LINX and connection drops from time to time resulting in email that doesnt arrive in time. I switched partially to a US host now and its very stable now

You'll note that they have 500mb of space with that plan, and unlimited file xfer. Good stuff.

I am not really sure yet, but they do seem like they suppost a lot of technologies.

I use www.hostingshop.com.au not bad price wise and have many different packages, ranging from high end stuff to low consumer level, recommend them for people in the land of Oz.
