one of the other purposes is also to have a lil chat with some of the members so u can get to know them and they can get to know u so that that they may eventually vouch for u (also chatting on irc will help ;)) and when enuff of them do that ull be let into the legion and then u can chat on out "not public" boards, far more fun imho ;-p
