shipwrecked
 

Once upon a time my dad had a game about being shipwrecked on an island .
There was just you on the island, and you had survive by growing crops, fishing and finding water and try to get resuced, by making sos sign on the beach building a bonfire. This isnt a new game, its at least 5 years old and imo not very good, but you know what old ppl are lke(ie.rip/tob:P) and he wants to find it again Now, the trouble is, he is a dozy old git and has lost the game, he knows its called shipwrecked or castaway, but it wasnt an english game, he thinks it was maybe german, but since his languages skills are like mine(none existent:P) he doesnt realy know P . Soanyone able to help me out here ? Can you make an old man happy, and get me a few free beers aswell :P

Never hear dof it heh, however it does remind me of an old screensaver which was similar, where you had a little guy on an island, who was shipwrecked and did different stuff now and again, was pretty awesome!

I think the name for that screensaver was "Castaway" or "Johnny Castaway".

I remember spending a few hours just idling and checking in once a while just to see what he was doing :biggrin:

yeah lol it was so addictive, i'd watch it for hours as he'd do so much different stuff

Totally forgot about it. Good thing there's alot of old nerds on this forum :)

i bought the Castaway screensaver when it came out
many years ago
must still have the floppy somewhere

best screensaver ever indeed, and if you think about the year it came out - its pretty amazing for that time (cant remember the exact year but its very long ago)

fuck they want $4 to download that screensaver... anyone knows if it still works with xp anyway? and maybe got a copy of it?
