Frozen Throne

Well, im playin right now the new expansion, FT, and im amazed by the new high-quality graphics, and the wonderful new characters ^^. I,ve just stopped some moments to relax after an hard quest (I aways play single play on HARD Difficulty) and i have some doubts of the balance of the Bnet with this new features... Well, after i finish this campaign, ill try Bnet to see what changed...

War3 has a pretty unique gameplay concerning heroes (leveling them etc.) and the general low count of unit (every unit and every bit of gold really counts).

Most of this can be pretty much ignored in singleplayer, but is absolutely crucial in Muliplayer.

Read this and try again.
(and yes, a serious Wc3 game is stressing and quite a bit of mental strain if you have a worthy opponent :) )

wc3 single player sucks big time imo. But the multiplayer never gets dull due to the huge amount of tactics and different styles of play on bnet.

Turtling = sure death, if your opponent has 3 working braincells... thats one point where WC3 is superior to Starcraft imho.

Tbh starcraft also doesn't work with turtling, at least as long as you don't play BGH maps (*shudder*). Basically, on more than comp-stomp level of play, you will have quite dynamic and dramatic matches in both games.

turtling is when you spend all your money on static defences, in the vain hope that you will surve an attack by an opponent who has spent his resources on attack units.

This is a horrible mistake, mainly because your options for composition are infinite with troops, but almost non-existent with static defence units.

Compare with "pds whore".
